Minnesota winter!

Tuesday, January 29th, 2008

This is not Minnesota! It’s cold here, but winter gives us a chance to be dormant (not like hibernate, but it could be!) so that we can listen for God in the small everday details of life. We are on the doorstep of Lent (check out Wikipedia), a time of reflection of the life of Jesus and a time to prepare for baptism and the grand celebration of Easter. Join us in this journey.

Happy New Year!

Tuesday, January 1st, 2008

2008 has arrived!

After a wonderful Christmas season, with gatherings of families in homes and in worship, we press on into the new year. On December 30, FLC held a reunion for young adults who had grown up in the congregation. Over lots of laughs and pizza, life and faith journeys were shared. We love these young adults!
