30 children learned about caring for their neighbors this past week at Day Camp sponsored by Spirit of Christ and Westwood Lutheran Churches. Pastor Wes drove the bus to many Minneapolis-area non-profits that care for he hungry and the homeless! The children asked excellent questions about poverty and wondered why we couldn’t put a stop to it…the challenge has been laid out!

The Hip Hop Drive In was a fantastic partnership between the Redeemer JUMP Crew, Spirit of Christ and Prince of Peace. Over 50 people and many neighbors came a checked out our event…grace-infused hip hop filled the night sky around the community. It’s been an incredible summer; thank you Sorensen neighbors for so kindly welcoming us as we visited 7 National Night Out events.

Join us for a great summer night on Wednesday, August 12th! The Redeemer JUMP Hip Hop Crew will be performing and bringing their beats to the beautiful night together. Grab a lawn chair…refreshments provided.
