Interfaith Kickball

Thursday, June 17th, 2010

Pastor Kevin and Rabbi Yonatan

Thanks to everyone who came out to “kick it” for STEP, the local social service agency in our community that was founded by the faith community working together to care for our neighbors.  We pray for the day that STEP will no longer be needed, but know our partnership is essential to be God’s hands, feet and shalom in Saint Louis Park.  Thanks especially to Jon and Ali London (Adath Jeshurun) and Brooks Anderson (Westwood) and Jason and Nicole Goerges (Spirit of Christ) who were the driving factors behind the event.  Join us for the next interfaith event!

Interfaith Conversations Project
Sunday, February 28 ● 3:00 – 5:00 pm
Please join us for an interfaith discussion hosted by Adath Jeshurun Congregation in Minnetonka. How do Judaism, Islam and Catholicism relate to “the other”―other religions and other groups within their own religion? We’ll hear from a panel from our three communities, followed by time to ask questions and share our own reflections on interfaith issues. RSVP encouraged to Adath Jeshurun, 952.215.3904 or ninas@adath.net, or Harriet Kohen, harriet_kohen@hotmail.com. Questions can be directed to Brooks or Bridget Anderson at brooksandbridget@yahoo.com or 612-590-1320.
